Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania match revealed?, Austin Aries signing with WWE soon.

According to the latest talks former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries is very close to signing a WWE Deal.

The rumours started hitting hard after Aries didn't take part in the recent Impact tapings. It's notable that WrestlingInc reported that TNA is once again offering stable contracts for their top wrestlers.

Also PWinsider noted that Aries was at Pittsburgh, PA this week. Possibly for the medical testing WWE does before signing them.

Updates on Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania match

According to PWinsider there is a serious talk going on in WWE to do a Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman match at Wrestlemania.

The way WWE decided to end the last Raw is also seen as a sign of things to come. The Wyatt Family Family stood tall after beating Lesnar at the end of Raw.

For the rest of the Wyatts, the plan is to do a separate match. They will be fighting Tommy Dreamer and The Dudley Boyz at Mania.

Daniel Bryan Returning soon?, TNA World title change

Tonight's Impact Wrestling Saw a World Title Change happening. Former WWE Star Matt Hardy defeated Ethan Carter III for the World title.

What's notable is that Hardy turned heel to win this championship. He teamed up with Tyrus who was on EC3's side first to defeat him.

It's Hardy's 2nd reign as a World Champion in TNA. Both men have been fueding over the title since last year.

Daniel Bryan headed for Medical testing

What could be the sign of good things to come for WWE Fans, PWinsider is noting that Bryan is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh, PA later this week.

It's worth notable that it's the home place of WWE's head doctor of wellness testing Dr. Joseph Maroon. There is no confirmation yet on if the both will meet but it's most likely to happen.

The rumour is up in the air from sometimes now that Daniel Bryan has been cleared to compete by other doctors but WWE's medical staff is holding him back for some reason.

But now WWE has to deal with a Wrestlemania season without most of their top stars. so it's very likely that WWE wants the star power of Daniel Bryan back in WWE even if it's only for a non Wrestling role.

Former TNA star works on NXT

WWE NXT is becoming crazy enough with all those indie signings lately. They are also breaking all the barriers WWE is long known for. Previously a WWE appearance for a former TNA star was nothing more than a big mostly impossible dream.

But now after the signings of Samoa Joe and Aj Styles (reportedly) a WWE run for previous TNA talents is becoming just another goal that can be conquered.

The latest installment of this came yesterday on NXT tapings when former TNA Knockout Santana Garrett was brought in for a match. She faced the new indie signing Asuka. The match will be aired on February 3rd.

Also it's being reported that WWE has finally signed indie star Tommaso Ciampa. Speculations of his signings were being made from quite sometimes.

A lot of people frown on that and say money isn't everything. Well I say it depends on how much you have saved. My goal whenI retire is to not be in a wheel chair or walk with a limp. Wherever I go, I will do my best, work harder than anybody there, and that's just what I do. I only have one gear and if someone is looking for that and I can support my family while doing it, then that is what I will do."

Forbes writes on Roman Reigns, POP TV president talks signing with TNA

Donald Wood from Forbes wrote an article on Roman Reigns this week. The article explained the reason behind Roman Reigns failing as Face for WWE. Here is a part from the article:

Winning the championship at Survivor Series—only to have it ripped away by The Authority-backed Sheamus—is almost identical to how the company booked the quintessential underdog Bryan at WrestleMania 30. With WWE trying to follow a similar pattern for Reigns, a portion of the WWE Universe is having trouble supporting a Superstar who is being positioned as the next Cena, while still being portrayed as Bryan.
Recommended by Forbes It's hard to take Reigns serious as an underdog when he has a track record similar to the ultimate Superman, Cena. Since making his main roster debut in November 2012, Reigns has only lost 17 singles matches.

POP TV president talks TNA

TNA made the announcement of moving from Destination America to Pop TV just a few weeks ago. The Pop TV President Brad Schwartz spoke to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald about this. Here are some highlights of it:

About what makes TNA a successful show:

"The easy answer is ratings, but for an emerging network like ourselves that's not the be-all, end-all. There's a business side to this. Just 12 months ago, when this show was on Spike, it averaged 1.3-million viewers every week for the entire year. That's two hours a week for 52 weeks it averaged 1.3-million viewers a week. That's not spin. That's Nielsen. We're in almost as many homes as Spike. So you would love to see us build it back up to those levels, and if you talk to [TNA President] Dixie [Carter], surpass those levels. Is that gonna happen in the first month? Is that gonna happen in the first quarter? Is that gonna happen in the second quarter? I think it will be a little bit of a build as we earn back the fans who might not have been able to watch it, because they didn't get it anymore; they didn't have that channel."
Why they signed with TNA:

"The other thing that I love about this type of content is it's not Netflixable. This isn't something you're going to watch on Netflix in two years. It's in the moment. It's appointment tune television. It's exciting, and you got to tune in every single week. That is rare in television today. So what's rare in television today is a show that does 1-million viewers. What's rare in television today is a show that you need to watch on your television set, and you need to watch it this week. Those are two very, very exciting things to us. As an emerging network — one of the fastest growing networks on television — press and social buzz and just being a part of a conversation, all of those things are data points which are important to us, More people talking about us, more people talking about the content we have on TV, more people watching. This partnership between us and [TNA] Impact Wrestling, our goal is to build it into a very, very big business and to have even more success than it's ever had."

He was also asked about the rumours of TNA being there for only a short time. He said that they are a growing channel and they know which show they have to put on their prime time.

Former WWE manager defends WWE creatives, James Strom appeares on NXT

Former WWE Manager Armando Estrada recently spoke to the Busted open radio. He said that fans are too hard on WWE creative team. Here is what he had to say:

"Take your favorite television show, whether it's The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, whatever it may be. I was a big Breaking Bad fan, Imagine if that show was on three hours a week every week of the year. What would happen to the quality of the storytelling or the writing? Think about the performers from being saturated, to being all over your screen and not feeling special anymore. Just think about that for a second. I think that answers the question. These guys – the WWE production team, the creative team – they've got to come up with original content that when you add up three hours of Raw, Smackdown, all the other shows that they do in addition to the programming that's on the Network that they're coming up with. Think about how much content these guys are asked to come up with on a weekly basis, every single week. It's very challenging to keep it fresh, to keep it interesting….At the end of the day, Vince is getting a nice check from NBC Universal for producing 'X' amount of hours and you know what? People are still tuning in. There's still going to be that hardcore audience to tune in every single week and you know what? If they don't like what they're watching on the USA Network, it's easy. They can get better content, but they have to pay $9.99 on the WWE Network. It's genius!"

James Storm on NXT

Former TNA star James Storm surprisingly appeared on tonight's episode of NXT tapings. He defeated Adom Rose in a quick match.

Strom is a former TNA champion. He has worked with TNA since the birth of the company. There is no news on if WWE has signed a contract with him or it was just an independent appearance.

After the Wyatt came out the Dudley's called out their old buddy and hardcore legend Tommy Dreamer in the ring to equal things up between the two teams.

We saw a short match between the two teams which ended up in a disqualification. What it looks like now is that the Wyatt's will face Dudleys and Dreamer in a tables match at TLC.

Kurt Angle talks about his retirement tour, Reven joins Talk is Jerricho

TNA has released a video in which Kurt Angle is talking about his retirement. As we know TNA is dubbing their UK tour this January as the "retirement tour" for Kurt Angle. Kurt said:
"This is my retirement tour for Impact Wrestling, Good things do come to an end, and my career is coming to an end. I've had a great career, I've enjoyed every second of it, from WWE to TNA."

Raven on Talk is Jerricho

Former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Raven joined Chris Jerricho for the 198th episode his famous "Talk is Jerricho" podcast. Raven said that vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan was the best match in WrestleMania 19 and more. Here are some highlights from the podcast:

He said that the best match of  Wrestlemania 19 was Vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan. It's notable that the event featured matches like Chris Jerricho vs. Shawn Michaels and The Rock vs. "Stone cold" Steve Austin :
"[Jericho] and Michaels had a phenomenal match, but I still thought that the best match, no offense, on the card was Hulk and Vince because Vince's facials and they didn't have 20 minutes of false finishes. I think they had just a comeback and go home, right? But I remember there was this one spot where Vince picked something up and he peers. Like, his head pops up and he's peering over across the ring and the camera picks it up and I'm like, 'oh, what a shot!'"
He said that Partying with Shane McMahon, the son of Vince Mcmahon caused heat with him:
" They used to call me Johnny Port Chester Polo because Stamford [Connecticut], they rolled the sidewalks up at one o'clock, but Port Chester [New York] was open till, like, five in the morning. It's, like, five miles away. my downfall was I'd bring Shane out with me, Shane McMahon. And the boys are like, 'ah, you're sucking up to him' and I'm like, 'no, I'm not! I'm burying myself' because he'd call his dad, and on commentary, I'd call his dad 'Vic' instead of 'Vince', so he'd go, 'hey, Vic,' which is just horrible! He'd say, 'hey, Vic, it's,' and it would be, like, four in the morning, 'I'm just going to sleep at Johnny Polo's tonight' and so I just buried myself."
On the question of returning to WWE he said that he could return but only on his terms. He admitted that his return is doubtful:
"Honestly, if I could go back, if I could go there now, I don't think I would because I'd rather be semi-retired. If I had an opportunity to come in, which I don't, but if I had an opportunity to come in and do what I wanted to do the way I wanted to do it, I'd take that in a heartbeat. But the odds of me ever getting that and the odds of them ever hiring me are [astronomically small], but the odds of me getting to do what I want to do are beyond [astronomically small]."
He also talked about the downfall of ECW and TNA, he also said that the chairman Vince McMahon sees himself as 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase and 'The All-American' Lex Luger.

Eathen Carter III talks about his character, seth rollins injury updates

Former TNA World Champion Eathen Carter III recently spoke to Busted Open Radio. He talked about his character and what makes him a successful heel:

I just don't do cool moves. I know what you guys are saying and it's very difficult, in this day and age especially, because some of the audienceis – they like their villains, they like their antagonists.

Probably because when you play that role, you can come out of your shell a lot more and maybe – I don't want to say be more entertaining – be outside yourself more, be out there more.

Some fans attract to that, but when people boo me, that was a compliment because I work to get those….Most of the time the fans enjoy booing me and it's not negative 'They don't want to see me'. It's they want to see me get what's coming to me and I think that's really important.
I think a lot of times a lot of guys coming up – the guys that you're supposed to cheer, the guys that you're supposed to boo – the guys that you're supposed to boo are doing heroic things and very impressive things and it's hardto dislike a guy who's beating everybody cleanly with his finish.

It's hard to dislike a guy who's spouting off funny comments when he grabs a guy in a hold, you know? It's hard to dislike that because it's entertaining. It's very hard to dislike cool-ass moves because they're cool-ass moves and cool-ass moves are cool. If you're an antagonist that's cool, it kind of defeats the purpose a little bit so for me, personally, I try to stay away from that.

I try to see where other heels, bad guys, villains are going and what they're doing and I just try to be the opposite of it as much as possible. But even forme, when I'm doing promos, wrestling matches, it comes toa time where I have to do things to at least have some credibility attached to what I'mdoing. It's a very slippery slope as well, but I just got to find the right balance, I think,"
