Two new title matches announced for Royal Rumble

As expected tonight's Raw was all about building the upcoming Royal Rumble ppv with two new championship matches and new obstacles for Roman Reigns into his road to Wrestlemania.

First of all it was announced that Kalisto will get his rematch for the United States championship in the ppv. However it's highly unlikely that WWE creatives will let the title change happen 3rd time in 2 weeks.

Also The New Day will defend their Tag Team Championship against The Usos. A Divas title match is also expected to be added but hasn't been announced yet.

It was also revealed Roman Reigns who will be defending his World Heavyweight championship into the Royal Rumble will be entering the Rumble on #1 spot.

As if this wasn't enough for Reigns to handle, mr. McMahon decided that Roman will have to go through a handicap tag match against Sheamus, King Barrett, Rusev and WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in Smackdown before reaching the Rumble.

Former World Champion removed from Royal Rumble, miss management at WWE Live Event

There was a management problem during yesterday's WWE Live Event in matinee in Chicago. The show started one hour later then schedule.

Apparently the problem was with the heating system of the arena it was described as being 'freezing cold' inside.

During the wait outside WWE Sent the NXT Champion Finn Balor out to meet the fans. He thanked them for coming.

Former World Champion removed from Royal Rumble

WWE added former World Champion Mark Henry in the official roster of Royal Rumble Match next Monday but he was quickly removed.

As of writing this he hasn't been added to the Rumble yet in the official WWE website. There has been no clarification whatsoever about his status. Here is the updated card for the event:

Biggest Royal Rumble entrance revealed, big Title match announced for Smackdown

Lots of interesting developments were made on tonight's episode of WWE Raw. Along with a title match which will surely be a contestant of WTF moment Slammy of 2016.

First of all the biggest upset in recent months Kalisto defeated United States Champion Alberto Del Rio for US title.

While I do really like Kalisto, that makes the title less relevant as Alberto just won it 2 months ago. It means that we now have all face champions which Vince doesn't really like. That means we'll gonna be seeing another title change very soon.

After this it was announced that Alberto will be cashing in his rematch clause in tomorrow's Smackdown. Several Other matches were also announced for the show:

* The Dudley Boyz vs. The Wyatt Family in a Tables Match

*Neville and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Kevin Owens

*Alberto Del Rio vs. WWE United States Champion Kalisto

Also Brock Lesnar made his anticipated return and made his claim on the current World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns after giving him an F-5.

While he certainly didn't announced his entrance in the Rumble by himself, Michael Cole made it for him saying that he thinks Brock is entering the Rumble.

Huge tifle match announced for Royal Rumble, WWE sings the best Wrestler in the World

In a very shocking portion of news F4Wonline is reporting that WWE has signed a contract with the former TNA World Champion AJ Styles.

Styles is considered the pound to pound best wrestler in the world in the current active wrestlers. WWE has also signed NJPW stars Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

AJ is supposed to come to WWE soon but Gallows and Anderson are most likely to move with the WWE roster after their dates end with NJPW. Nakamura is expected to stay a little more longer as he will have to drop his title.

Big Title Match announced for Royal Rumble

It was announced on tonight's Raw by the WWE Chairman mr. McMahon that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will have to defend his title in the Royal Rumble match itself.

The announcement was made after Roman retained his World title against Sheamus in a chaotic match. However the decision is already being criticised by many WWE fans.

Roman has just won the WWE Title and is not expected to lose it so early. Specially when the last champion Sheamus lost it within a month of winning.

According to the Fans that makes Royal Rumble which is one of the most unpredective event of the year, a very predictive match which is as bad as another Big Show vs. Roman Reigns match at Rumble.

Former World Champion returns on Raw, big title match announced for Smackdown

As expected tonight's Raw was filled with a lots of Royal Rumble mentions and people announcing themselves for the grand event.

The most surprising one of tonight's announcements was when former World Champion Chris Jerricho made his return to Raw. Jerricho announced that he will be competing for a chance to main event WrestleMania this year.

The Rock announces WWE return, Big World title match announced

As reported before WWE chairman Vince McMahon was present at tonight's Monday night Raw. And as expected he made sure that Roman Reigns gets no rest in his journey to WrestleMania.

Vince announced that Roman Reigns will have to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus next week on Raw. Making the things even interesting he announced that he will be the special Guest referee for the match.

The Rock announces WWE return

As we noted before The Rock was teasing a big announcement before tonight's Monday night Raw. We noted that it could be related to a WWE return.

Making all the previous speculations false, the Rock announced that he will be joining the biggest event of the Wrestling calendar "WrestleMania 32".

It's not known yet if he will be competing in a match or will make a non-wrestling appearance. But both ways it's going to be a treat for all the wrestling fans.

Two Cage matches announced for future Smackdown, Roman Reigns reveals match for Raw?

WWE is advertising two cage matches locally for the January 5th episode of Smackdown. The competitors for the match are not revealed yet. We will keep you updated on any further detail.

It's notable that SmackDown will be moving to USA network from 5th January. WWE is trying to make it an important event so many big stars including the likes of John Cena will be on the show.

Roman Reigns revealed match for next Raw?

WWE released a backstage follow out a video after this week's super Smackdown in which Roman Reigns is seen with Usos.

In the video Reigns says that he is tired of the League of Nations and wants to end this once in for all. He indicated that there could be a possible 3on3 or 4on4 match between his family (Usos and Ambrose) vs. The league of Nations on next Raw.

Forbes writes on Roman Reigns, POP TV president talks signing with TNA

Donald Wood from Forbes wrote an article on Roman Reigns this week. The article explained the reason behind Roman Reigns failing as Face for WWE. Here is a part from the article:

Winning the championship at Survivor Series—only to have it ripped away by The Authority-backed Sheamus—is almost identical to how the company booked the quintessential underdog Bryan at WrestleMania 30. With WWE trying to follow a similar pattern for Reigns, a portion of the WWE Universe is having trouble supporting a Superstar who is being positioned as the next Cena, while still being portrayed as Bryan.
Recommended by Forbes It's hard to take Reigns serious as an underdog when he has a track record similar to the ultimate Superman, Cena. Since making his main roster debut in November 2012, Reigns has only lost 17 singles matches.

POP TV president talks TNA

TNA made the announcement of moving from Destination America to Pop TV just a few weeks ago. The Pop TV President Brad Schwartz spoke to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald about this. Here are some highlights of it:

About what makes TNA a successful show:

"The easy answer is ratings, but for an emerging network like ourselves that's not the be-all, end-all. There's a business side to this. Just 12 months ago, when this show was on Spike, it averaged 1.3-million viewers every week for the entire year. That's two hours a week for 52 weeks it averaged 1.3-million viewers a week. That's not spin. That's Nielsen. We're in almost as many homes as Spike. So you would love to see us build it back up to those levels, and if you talk to [TNA President] Dixie [Carter], surpass those levels. Is that gonna happen in the first month? Is that gonna happen in the first quarter? Is that gonna happen in the second quarter? I think it will be a little bit of a build as we earn back the fans who might not have been able to watch it, because they didn't get it anymore; they didn't have that channel."

Why they signed with TNA:

"The other thing that I love about this type of content is it's not Netflixable. This isn't something you're going to watch on Netflix in two years. It's in the moment. It's appointment tune television. It's exciting, and you got to tune in every single week. That is rare in television today. So what's rare in television today is a show that does 1-million viewers. What's rare in television today is a show that you need to watch on your television set, and you need to watch it this week. Those are two very, very exciting things to us. As an emerging network — one of the fastest growing networks on television — press and social buzz and just being a part of a conversation, all of those things are data points which are important to us, More people talking about us, more people talking about the content we have on TV, more people watching. This partnership between us and [TNA] Impact Wrestling, our goal is to build it into a very, very big business and to have even more success than it's ever had."

He was also asked about the rumours of TNA being there for only a short time. He said that they are a growing channel and they know which show they have to put on their prime time.

Mick Foley talks about Roman Reigns turning heel

As promised Mick Foley appeared on the 277th episode of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's "The Steve Austin Show". He talked in detail about his comment last week that he will stop watching Raw. it made lots of headlines. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Foley said he started watching Raw as a Family activity but slowly noticed that children were not interested in it:

"I came to appreciate the time I was spending with the kids [watching RAW] and it's kind of a no-brainer if it's Monday night and I'm home that that's where I'll be for three hours every Monday night. But my 12-year-old falls a sleep [at] about nine [o'clock]. My 14-year-old has lost interest, I don't necessarily need to watch the show just for the sake of watching the show and I realized the show is not depressing me. It's frustrating me."

He said he was in a position where he was watching the show just for the sake of watching it:

"When I realized I was on the verge of not watching, I just thought that I could be indicative of what could be hundreds of thousands of other people who were on the fence, like, who hadn't been happy about the show for a while, but were watching it because that was their pattern and that's what they did."

Foley said that it's difficult to separate the heel character of the authority Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to the characters of them in which they go out and do charity:

"I've always liked Stephanie, I've always thought the world of her, and I see this person who does great things for Be a STAR [and] for Connor's Cure, and it confuses people. It's hard to really dislike this guy who [has] kind of built NXT from the ground up. It's hard to really dislike Stephanie. And I hope that's not nitpicky. now you're in a position where the strong personalities are not on the marquee for the house shows or the main events. And that's my worry, that they're going to double down with the Authority and I'm not sure that's what people want to see."

Foley believes that Roman Reigns should turn heel:

"I believe that Roman Reigns as part of the Authority would take off. I think that's what that character really could have used. they're kind of putting [Reigns] in that Steve Austin role and not everybody can pull that off."

Foley said that heavily scripted promos are not good, because it ends the chance of mistakes but also improvements:

"When you script things, you do take away, like, the chances of disasters. but at the same time, when you try to eliminate disasters and you try to eliminate chances of guys like me and The Rock [going] 14 minutes over time, [turning] a 12-minute segment into 26, you also take away that likelihood, or the chance, the possibility, that something really special will take place out there."

Here are the complete results of WWE Raw tonight:

* Raw started with the New Day Celebrating Sheamus's championship victory on survivor series. Sheamus thanked the authority for the victory. He cut a heel promo and was attacked by Roman Reigns afterwards. Roman took his championship belt and left.

* Dolph Ziggler Vs. Tyler Breeze-

The match had no storyline. Ziggler won the match for no good reason. 

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

* Lana and Rusev are the guests for Miz TV. They are interrupted by Ryback who wants to fight Rusev.

* Rusev vs. Ryback 

Lana gets knocked out and Rusev gets counted out while checking her.

Winner: Ryback

* The Dudley boyz are in the ring with tables. They call out The Wyatt Family and later Tommy Dreamer to equal things up between the two teams

Charlotte acts like she has hurt her leg and beat Becky in Ric Flair's style. Apparently just to justify Flair's appearance

This match was set up just to make it look like Roman was being punished along with all his friends. In my opinion, it failed miserably. Sheamus won the match for his team at the end.

Solomon Crowe returns to independent circuit:

Former NXT talent Solomon Crowe returned to independent circuit last night. He took part in AAW event in Berwyn, IL. He went by the name Sami Callihan for his return in the independent scenes.

He attacked Eddie Kingston, who had just won the AAW championship. It's notable that he was released from NXT this past week after he asked for his it.

WWE announces Wrestlemania Revenge tour

WWE will do the WrestleMania Revenge tour of the UK in April 2016. The 10-show, 8-day tour will have RAW and SmackDown tapings from the O2 Arena in London.

Backstage updates on Roman Reigns push after Servivor Series, Jim Ross says he wants to call ROH anniversary event

According to WrestlingInc the original plans for Roman Reigns were to Win the World Heavyweight Championship at Servivor Series which was changed at the last moment to the finish involving Sheamus.

However the long term plan still includes the idea of pushing Roman Reigns on the position where he is center of the company, just like like John Cena is.

There is feeling within the company that fans see Roman as "corporate pick" and that's why they boo him. The current plans are to punish Roman Reigns on screen till the fans get behind him.

Jim Ross talks about ROH anniversary event

- Former WWE spokesperson Jim Ross has published the latest version of his blog. He has mentioned the ROH 14th Anniversary event in February next year.

He said that he would like to do commentary on the event and declared him self "readily available" for the show. As noted before many NJPW talents will be making an appearance for the show of ROH.

Tyrus explains his problem with John Cena, What happened after WWE Smackdown tapings went off air

Former WWE and TNA star Tyrus recently explained why he takes shot at John Cena in every interview:

"Yeah. I did that because he compared me to the XFL. I waslike 'what did I do?' I said 'okay,cool. I'm getting mentioned ontwo wrestling promotions, but I can't let him ride on that, can I? Hell no. Get him.' I said the only thing different between Cena and PN News was a push, and everybody laughed. He's the pinnacle of our business. He's probably not going to hear people yelling at the middle of the mountain at him. Just having fun with him. It was a good concept and the first time I put a series together. After tonight's Smackdown tapings ended In Indianpollis, Dean Ambrose stood in the ring as the Wyatt family surrounded the ring.

He started to fight the Wyatt family. Later Roman Reigns and his cousins The Usos made the save. All the faces then cleared the ring and sent the Wyatts out. The faces stood tall in ring to send crowed home.

Tonight after the events of rhe closing moments of Servivor Series ppv, Raw started with Triple H Introducing the new World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus.

Later 'former' WWE Champion Roman Reigns came in the ring and demanded his rematch for the title to which Triple H Replied that he will get his rematch when The Game will want.

Larer it was revealed that Roman Reigns will get his rematch at the upcoming WWE PPV TLC. It will be a Tables Ladders and Chairs match.

Mick Foley comments on Raw Divas match, Sheamus sends message to Roman Reigns post Raw

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley tweeted about Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch match at Raw. According to the Hall of Famer the time given to the match was not enough:

- The New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus tweeted the following after Raw went off the air tonight:

It's worth noting that at the end of Raw Sheamus tried to attack Roman Reigns after his match but got caught with a chair shot.

WWE World Championship Tournament Finals:​ 

Roman Reigns who got a mix reaction defeated Dean Ambrose, who got a hero's welcome at Atlanta with a spear to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H came to the ring after the match to shake Reigns' hand, but Reigns speared him only to see Sheamus in the ring. The Celtic Warrior hit a Brogue Kick to which Reings kicked-out at two. Sheamus then came up with another Brogue Kick to win the match.

Analysis of the show: 

WWE could have easily made Brothers of Destruction and Wyatt's a traditional Servivor Series match so it would at least make sense.

The tournament at the end lost importance. We agree that WWE had less time to think after Seth's injury but things could have been handled better. The reactions that reigns get everytime he reaches to the title is only getting stronger and I think they should send him in mid card for sometime now to make it easy with fans.

It's good to see divas division growing up and I hope it will only grow better from now. They have nothing to lose so they should try some different things with it.

Apart from the three all other matches were just filler which is not good for a ppv running from this long time. They now have Usos, Dudly's, New Day and many more teams and I think it's the right time to make the tag team division worthy again. Most of the top stars are not there so they should definitely give more time to Tag Team Division.
