ECW Original returns on Raw, ROH and TNA TV ratings on Thanksgiving


WWE Universe tonight witnessed the return of ECW Original Tommy Dreamer on WWE Raw. Dreamer joined Dudley Boys to fight the Wyatt Family.

Dudley's were attacked by the Wyatt's several times this past week. They decided to take their revenge tonight on Raw and called out the Wyatt's.

After the Wyatt came out the Dudley's called out their old buddy and hardcore legend Tommy Dreamer in the ring to equal things up between the two teams. 

We saw a short match between the two teams which ended up in a disqualification. What it looks like now is that the Wyatt's will face Dudleys and Dreamer in a tables match at TLC.



ROH and TNA TV Ratings on Thanksgiving week


Ring of Honor's TV tapings on Destination America drew a total of 141,000 viewers on the Thanksgiving week. This is up a massive 24% from the previous week's 114,000 viewers.

On the other hand, TNA impact drew 234,000 viewers. This is up 16% from the previous week's 202,000 viewers. The midnight replay of the same show drew 78,000 viewers.

TNA drew a total of 312,000 viewers this past week, which is up 11% from the previous week's 280,000 viewers. Which was a record low on Destination America for the company.

New details on AJ Styles injury, Goldust spreads the ashes of Dusty Rhodes


As we noted before former TNA and IWGP champion AJ Styles is missing shows which he's been scheduled for from sometimes now. He has missed several dates of the ongoing NJPW World Tag League and the latest set of ROH Tapings as well.

Reportedly he is dealing with the same issues which caused him to miss time last month. He is facing issues with his lower back. It's said that he has been travelling with the NJPW crew. Several fans have reported seeing him.

AJ has told New Japan Pro Wrestling's bi-monthly magazine that the problem is caused because he has been working too much on the independent circuit in 2015.


Goldust spreads the ashes of Dusty Rhodes


WWE Superstar Goldust aka Dustin Runnels noted on social media that the Rhodes family spread the ashes of WWE Hall Of Famer Dusty Rhodes this past Friday:

ROH is trying to make their upcoming ppv a big hit. They have added a YouTube Pre-Show to the ppv. The pre show will see the match of Brutal Bob Evans vs. Cheeseburger grudge

Also two new matches- Moose vs. Michael Elgin, and Television title match between Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish have been added to the ppv. After it here is the updated card of the event:

New movie of John Cena

John Cena, who has been away from WWE TV for shooting his new TV reality show, will be making several social appearances soon.

His latest movie named "sisters" will be releasing on December 18th and he should start promoting it soon. The movie is starred by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, John also has a role in it.

* Match Number One: Adam Page (with BJ Whitmer and Colby Corino) versus Will Ferrara
Winner: Will Ferrara

* Post match, Whitmer and Corino attack Page. Whitmer with an Exploder. Whitmer throws the referee aside and then Mark Briscoe and security enter the ring

* After a break Kevin Kelly is with Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian at ringside. They all talk about various things and later get attacked by some masked men.

* We see a video package of Cheeseburger and Bob Evans feud. It includes what happened recently when Evans attacked Cheeseburger.

* we get a look back at last week when Roderick Strong defeated Jay Lethal for the second time to become a two time Ring of Honor Television Champion.

* Jay Lethal comes out to the ring with Truth Martini and Taeler Hendrix. He congrats Roderick Strong for he won after a thousand losses. He cuts a promo and Calls out Aj Styles.

Aj tells jay he should concentrate on facing AJ. AJ offers his hand and Jay shakes it. Jay tells AJ may the best man win and it will be him because he is the best man and the greatest wrestler in the world.

* Another Episode of "Inside ROH: Story Time with Adam Cole." Is shown. . Adam talks about his match versus Kyle O’Reilly at Final Battle. He tells it's the end of their friendship.

* They Run the Card of Final battle Ppv which includes Jay Lethal versus AJ Styles for the Ring of Honor World Title, Adam Cole versus Kyle O’Reilly in a Grudge Match, Roderick Strong versus Bobby Fish for the Ring of Honor Television Title, War Machine versus The Kingdom for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles and Moose versus Michael Elgin.

AJ Styles injured again?

It's not a very great year for Former IWGP and TNA Champion AJ Styles regarding injuries. He was pulled from today's NJPW World Tag League event due to an injury.

He also missed some time last month which includes a set of ROH Tv tapings due to a back injury.

Details on his current injury are not available yet. He has indicated that he will be appearing on next month's ROH Final Battle ppv. He is scheduled to fight the ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

ROH releases DVD of Samoa Joe, NJPW World Tag League day 5 Results


ROH Released their latest DVD on Samoa Joe. It's named 'SAMOA JOE: DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK'. Joe is currently working on WWE NXT. He is scheduled to fight Finn balor for the NXT title next month on NXT Takeover. Here is the official press release for the DVD:

New match announced for ROH Final battle, First ever GFW title change takes place


Ring Of Honor has announced ROH TV Champion Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish will take place at their Final Battle ppv. The event will take place in Philadelphia at December 18th. The other announced matches for the pay per view are:

War Machine vs. ROH Tag Team Champions Matt Taven and Michael Bennett, 

AJ Styles vs. ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

First ever GFW title Change:


The newly formed Wrestling promotion GFW witnessed their first ever title change today. Sonjay Dutt defeated former WWE star PJ Black  better known ad Justin Gabriel to win the GFW NEX*GEN Title

Black won the title in a tournament which was held to crown the first ever champion. Dutt was also scheduled for to face John Hennigan or former WWE star John Morrison on yesterday's WrestleCade event.

Backstage updates on Roman Reigns push after Servivor Series, Jim Ross says he wants to call ROH anniversary event

According to WrestlingInc the original plans for Roman Reigns were to Win the World Heavyweight Championship at Servivor Series which was changed at the last moment to the finish involving Sheamus.

However the long term plan still includes the idea of pushing Roman Reigns on the position where he is center of the company, just like like John Cena is.

There is feeling within the company that fans see Roman as "corporate pick" and that's why they boo him. The current plans are to punish Roman Reigns on screen till the fans get behind him.

Jim Ross talks about ROH anniversary event


- Former WWE spokesperson Jim Ross has published the latest version of his blog. He has mentioned the ROH 14th Anniversary event in February next year.

He said that he would like to do commentary on the event and declared him self "readily available" for the show. As noted before many NJPW talents will be making an appearance for the show of ROH.

Big Japanese star to join ROH 14th anniversary celebration, NJPW world tag league results


Ring of Honor's relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling took another step as they announced that one of the biggest Japanese stars Shinsuke Nakamura will be fighting in ROH's 14th anniversary Celebration event.

Ring of Honor announced combined show with NJPW in Las Vegas for 14th anniversary

Ring of Honor released the following statement in which they revealed that they will be doing a combined show with NJPW in Las Vegas next year. It will be the 14th anniversary of ROH:


On February 26th and 27th 2016, the best wrestling on the planet returns to at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas! Ring of Honor is celebrating our 14th Anniversary LIVE on pay-per-view on February26th. 

But the very next night, all of your favorite ROH stars will be back again for a massive television taping! 

This is a can't missevent in one of the most exciting cities in the world - and only ROH can deliver this kind of action.

In the coming weeks, matches for both the 14th Anniversary pay-per-view event as well as the television taping the following night will be announced but we can confirm that the next chapter in the partnership between Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) will be written in Las Vegas on February 26th and 27th.

The stars of ROH and NJPW will share the stage in the Entertainment Capital of the World for the 14th Anniversary weekend and we are proud to announce the first star from New Japan Pro Wrestling who will be competing in Las Vegas at the 14th Anniversary event and the TV Taping the following night.

Dolph Ziggler To get New Ring Gear

-Dolph Ziggler Indicated on twitter that he will be debuting his new ring gear on Servivor Series. His new gear os based on "Too Fast for Love" single. He will be fighting Tyler Breeze at the event.

Alex Shelley makes surprise ROH return, Smackdown TV rating for this week


Alex Shelley made his surprise return on ROH this week. Alex is a former TNA, Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling Star. He was very famous in his TNA days as part of the tag team "Motor City Machineguns".

He was there for Friday's tapings in Nashville, Tennessee. Shelley did an angle with his former tag team partner Chris Sabin. The details of it are not available yet.

This is the first appearance of hom for ROH since this Summer at the 'Field of Honor' event. Before that he appeared in 2014 and 2010 for the company.

Smackdown viewers rating of this week




- This week WWE Smackdown drew a total of 2.229 million viewers, which is down from last week's 2.294 million viewers. The final rating for the show was a 1.64, which is a slight up from last week's 1.62.

ROH unveils new details for Japan tour next , Main Event of NXT Takeover: London announced


Giving new details Ring of Honor released the following statement on their Japan tour next year in February. They will be working with NJPW:

- The main event of WWE NXT Takeover will be Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe. It will be officially announced on this week's episode. This week's NXT episode will feature a official contract singing between them

- The show kicked off with Silas Young trying to teach the Boys how to be men.

- War Machine defeated Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser (w/ The Boys)
Young hits the Boys after the match.

-Steve Corino comes out, and joins Nigel McGuinness in the ring. McGuinness said that Corino was warned if he touched a wrestler again, he'd be let go. McGuinness says he can't reinstate Corino as a color commentator, but he can as a wrestler. McGuinness announces Whitmer vs. Corino for a Fight Without Honor. Corino talks about his dream of being a pro wrestler. Corino says he has to have neck surgery, and he has to get a fusion, and his career is over. He tells the fans goodbye to a great reaction.

- Next Silas Young is teaching the Boys how to use a urinal (Oh yes you read it right)

- Next is this week's Story Time With Adam Cole. He complains about Nigel's list of contenders in a promo. He says he'll make sure that Kyle O'Reilly is gone.

- Silas Young teaches the Boys how to use a plunger.

-Michael Elgin defeats Kevin Lee Davidson

Updates on Randy Orton's shoulder injury


- Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that people who are close to Randy Orton are describing his shoulder injury as "serious injury" and he will get surgery as soon as possible.

News on NJPW power struggle event, New details on Wrestle Kingdom 10

-Shinsuke Nakamura tonight successfully defended his IWGP Intercontinental Champion. He beat the current leader of Bullet Club "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson at tonight's NJPW Power Struggle event in Osaka.

New match announced for WrestleKingdom 10

- it's now confirmed that "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles will compete against Nakamura. The match will take place on Wrestle Kingdom 10 ppv at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th.
They both have never competed against each other before and it's being called the Semi-main event of the show.

Aj Styles removed from ROH tapings

- Aj Styles was recently removed from a set of Ring Of Honor TV tapings. It was said that he had "sciatic nerve problem" and was supposed to be back at December's Final Battle PPV.

However for the relief of ROH he was back in action on tonight's NJPW "Power Struggle" event. He teamed up with Bullet Club member Bad Luck Fale to defeat Toru Yano and Yoshi-Hashi.

The Young Bucks close to signing with ROH, Daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer training for Wrestling



WrestlingInc is reporting that the famous indie tag team The Young Bucks are close to signing a deal with ROH. They have been in talks with ROH from sometimes now and are close to a contract.

According to the reports the contract will see the duo work with ROH. They will also be free to work with companies like Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. It will also allow them to work regularly with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is also trying to do a deal with ROH. It would allow them to work with Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole again. ROH stopped their exclusive contracted wrestlers to work on PWG after Cole got injured during a PWG event.


WWE Hall Of Famer training for Wrestling

According to the wrestling observer newsletter Rachael Ellering is currently training to wrestle at Storm Wrestling Academy of Lance Storm. She is the daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Ellering. She has previously won a bronze medal in powerlifting. She is a big wrestling fan

Massive TV ratings drop for TNA and ROH

It was a bad week for both TNA and ROH. Both of the brands suffered major drops on their TV ratings. Both brands are aired currently on Destination America. 

Ring of Honor's TV episode on Wednesday drew 89,000 viewers. Last week on the same day it drew 138,000 viewers. That's a massive 36% drop for the company. 

TNA's Impact wrestling show drew almost 258,000 viewers. Last week the same show drew 353,000 viewers. This is almost 27% less than last week. The midnight replay of Impact saw 62,000 viewers which are down from last week's 96,000.

The average drop of both the main telecast and the replay was a massive 29%. Both shows are said to be hurt by the GOP debate on CNN last night. The debate drew drew 23.1 million viewers for CNN.

It's notable that both TNA and ROH are in a kind of trial run with Destination America. The channel will see the ratings of both shows. After it they will decide if any of the shows are good enough to continue with the channel. 

TNA also announced their first official match for their 4th annual Bound For Glory ppv. Awesome Kong will take on Gail Kim for the TNA Knockouts championship at October 4th.

Austin Aries returning to ROH



Former TNA star austin aries is returning to ROH. He will be a part of the show in Las Vegas at July 17th he hinted yesterday that a big announcement is coming from him. ROH released the following statement on it:
