Backstage updates on Roman Reigns push after Servivor Series, Jim Ross says he wants to call ROH anniversary event

According to WrestlingInc the original plans for Roman Reigns were to Win the World Heavyweight Championship at Servivor Series which was changed at the last moment to the finish involving Sheamus.

However the long term plan still includes the idea of pushing Roman Reigns on the position where he is center of the company, just like like John Cena is.

There is feeling within the company that fans see Roman as "corporate pick" and that's why they boo him. The current plans are to punish Roman Reigns on screen till the fans get behind him.

Jim Ross talks about ROH anniversary event

- Former WWE spokesperson Jim Ross has published the latest version of his blog. He has mentioned the ROH 14th Anniversary event in February next year.

He said that he would like to do commentary on the event and declared him self "readily available" for the show. As noted before many NJPW talents will be making an appearance for the show of ROH.

X pac talks about Daniel Bryan, matches announced for WWE India tour

Former DX and NWA member Sean "X-Pac" Waltman recently gave an interview. Being one of the smallest wrestler on the roster in his time he talked if Daniel Bryan was held back due to his size:

"I went through a lot of the same things, It's a personal thing. You can't fault somebody for having perfect personal preference. What did it for Vince was a big guy with a great physique, clean cut. He'shad to let this thing go, but Vince hates tattoos."

When asked to explain he brought the example of Bret Hart who was small by the means of wrestling but would have been in heavyweight division in boxing:

"It kind of reminds me of Bret alittle bit. Bret was always Vince's standby guy. When he went with Lex Luger, that didn't pan out. Part of it wasn't Lex's fault. When you put a guyin red, white and blue and put him on a bus and say 'this is our guy!' No it's not! That always fell back on Bret. I would resent that, like I'm the second choice all the time. Good ol' standy Bret will always be there. Kind of like Daniel, cause Daniel is smaller. They're forced to listen to the people,"

Announced matches for WWE India tour

- WWE will be touring India next year. During tonight's Smackdown tapings it was announced that John Cena will be returning for the tour. He is currently shouting his new show with Fox tv.

In the commercial WWE announced that John Cena will face Big show on the event. Also Kane vs. Luke Harper was also advertised. It's notable that TNA just cancelled their India tour this week.

Jim Ross blogs about sheamus as champion, WWE superstars with longest tenures

Former WWE announcer Jim Ross published his latest blog on his website JRbarBQ.com. he wrote about many things.

He says WWE has to do a lot work on Sheamus as Champion:

"WWE has lots of work to do to get Sheamusin a position so that he can pass the title alongat the right place, at the right time to the right person. The hotter WWE can make Sheamus the more it wil mean when he loses the title. I'd be curious to see how Sheamus would progress if he were mentored by Arn Anderson, in front of or behind the camera, and adopted some of the Anderson families in ring traits."

According to him Ziggler Deserves some time off from WWE:

"Is it time forDolph Zigglerto take a much deserved sabbatical and to then return with a new focus? It's hard for me to comprehend why Ziggler is not utilized more productively in today's marketplace in WWE and perhaps getting off the road and allowing him to freshen up isn't such a bad idea. Yes, I know WWE doesn't have an over abundance of depth but when a door closes for one talent it should open for another."

Luke Harper joins Talk is Jerricho, talks about his bread, first WWE break and more

WWE Superstar Luke Harper joined Chris Jerricho for the 197th episode of his famous "Talk is Jerricho" podcast. He talked about many things including his life before WWE and more:

Harper said that he already had the beard before joining WWE:

"I had it already and I liken it to being fat: it's not difficult to do- you just kind of give up on life. This is what happens! And it just happens to help me with my career now! And my wife doesn't mind it. It's a win-win."

Harper almost gave up on his dream of becoming a WWE superstar after he reached the age of 31 while most of the WWE stars are signed at their early twenties:

"Two days after I had my child in January [2011], [I] got called by Johnny Ace [former WWE Senior Vice President of TalentOperations,John Laurinaitis]. And the other best part about that is that I missed his call because I was in the hospital, so he left a message, his [telephone] number cuts out." Harper continued, "so [I] instantly called Claudio Castagnoli [WWE'sCesaro] to [say], 'please tell me you have Johnny Ace's number' and he said, 'yeah, here it is right here.'"

He said he got his break with WWE because of Cesaro, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. He worked for WWE on 19 different occasions before getting signed:

"I was told again [WWE] were looking for guys over six [foot] whatever that could work. And so Claudio Castagnoli was down there, Tyler Black who is now Seth Rollins, and Jon Moxley who is Dean Ambrose, kind of all were close to Joey and said, 'hey, there's a kid out there that', I use the term, 'kid', loosely, 'there's a guy out there who can work and is tall and whatever and no one [has]ever called him.'"

Before getting the big break with WWE, He worked as a librarian:

"I was a librarian in a city school. That is correct." Harper added, "I kind of got hooked up through a family member who kind of had a connection and I applied and took the civil serviceTestand all this stuff and kind of got in. I was actually the keeper of thetext books and stuff, but I helped in the library."

Harper told that Cesaro and Joey Mercury helped him to get in touch for his current character with Wyatt:

"Even before, when I had signed my contract, I called Claudio and told him, so he tells me, he's like, 'oh, talk to this guy' and he puts Windham [Rotunda], Bray Wyatt, on the phone and he's just talking, like, 'oh yeah, I got this spot, blah, blah, blah' and I hang up the phone and I go, 'what the hell? What is he talking about?'So Joey's like, 'trust me. This is the perfect spot for you.'"

Kurt Angle talks about his new favourite match, Latest interview of the Wolves

Kurt Angle is currently touring UK. He joined the "In Ring Pop" podcast during the tour and talked about many things. When asked about his favourite match he replied:

"My favorite match changes: I would have said my first worldtitle againstThe Rockbut then last year I wrestled Bobby Lashley I validated then that I could do as much at 46 as I could at 32 and that I was just as good now, and so that became my favorite."

The Wolves, who are called the best tag team in the world currently by many, recently gave an interview to the Huffington Post in which they talked about the current tag team scenes:

"[Tag team wrestling] is experiencing a mass resurgence both here and overseas, All companies have great tag teams putting on terrific matches, and TNA is no different. Eddie and I are happy to represent that. It's a great time for tag team wrestling, As long as [The Wolves] are at the helm of it in TNA, we will gladly carry it on. Our goal is always to be the best."

Ric Flair talks about Shawn Michaels, early Days of Evolution

Ric Flair talked about many things in 28th episode of his 'Woo Nation with Ric Flair' podcast. He said that he knew Shawn was a good wrestler from the start and also talked about his 1992'Royal Rumble win and formation of "Evolution"

Flair said that he knew Michaels was special when he wrestled him in 1991 in WWF Prime Time:

"Yes, I sure did. We only had four minutes to wrestle, but I knew. I'd seen him and he was still inthe tag team situation. But yeah, he was tremendous. Yep, I sure did."

He said that 'Evolution' was the idea of Triple H:

"Evolution, [the] complete idea came about as a result of Hunter wanting to bring up some young guys. And Hunter and I were very close friends and he said, 'what do you thinkabout this and that?', and I didn't know Randy [Orton] and Dave [Batista] at the time. And they got there, Hunter came upwith the name, and talked about different names. And it just was a fresh start for those guys, a fresh start for me, it gave me an opportunity to position myself with some great young athletes and, at that time, probably the best worker in the business, Hunter,either it would be Hunter or Shawn, and I couldn't be in a better place. But we had a lot of fun together. Just Randy and Dave were just great guys and to this day, I remain very friendly with them."

He said that there were no crazy evolution stories:

"There [are] not any Evolution stories. I couldn't get Hunter tohave a glass of wine if I had a million dollars. It didn't happen. Now, Dave Batista, I did go out with a few times, Randy a few times, but I was very conservative. Those guys,both wonderful guys. Now Dave, I did get him to take off his shirt a few times in a bar when Hunter wasn't around."

Taz talks about current injuries in WWE, WWE cancelled show in Germany due to terror attack?

Raz Giri from WrestlingInc spoke to former WWE star Taz. They talked about so many people being injured and how he sees it. He said its a opportunity for others:

"From a wrestler? Geez. Huge opportunity for so many guys, and it trickles down to NXT. If you're an NXT guy or girl, whose opening match, you know it's going to be a trickle down effect in a positive way where they pull up a couple of these talents from NXT. When they pull up, you slip into their spot. It's a massive opportunity on the main rosteras long as it's given to, say, a guy like Cesaro. I hope they do. Or say aKevin Owensgoeshigher than where he's at with the IC title, or Alberto Del Rio, with the US title or whatever he's doing with Zeb Colter, which is weird in itself. They can go all different routes. They have guys that are game ready, plug and play. While everyone else is panicking that Rome is burning,Vince McMahonhas dealt with a lot worse than this, than his champion blowing his knee out."

He also said that Rollins Injury is good opportunity for Roman Reigns but he shouldn't turn heel:

"I knew there would be a tournament gimmick, and that'll work perfect. It's an opportunity for a guy like Roman Reigns, and people called in and said it was a great opportunity forRoman Reignsto turn heel. My point about that it's cool if Reigns turns if he can, but you don't turn a guy until he's at his peak as a babyface. Roman Reigns is not at that spot.John Cenaall those years has been, but usually you don't turn him unless everyone's connecting to him. Reigns hasheat with some fans, and some love them."

WWE show cancelled in Germany

F4Wonline.com has reported that WWE cancelled one of his events Germany this past week due to the Paris attacks and rising fear of terrorism. It was also said that they only had 80 tickets sold for the show but it wasn't the reason for cancellation

Longtime WWE Employee talks about Vince McMahon, his commentary in ring performance and more

Kerwin Silfies recently appeared on 'The Steve Austin Show - Unleashed' where he talked about a lots of things. He has been a long time WWE Director so he has worked very closely with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon so Austin asked him several questions related to him too. Silfies said about his commentary:

"Nobody can tell the story that needs to be told better than the man who booked the story,and, so, everything [McMahon] did [on commentary] was pretty perfect. And I think that's why whatever color [commentary] guys were working with him, they did their best work working with him, with the exception of Bobby [Heenan], who, hands down, did his best work working with Gorilla [Monsoon] because he wasn't intimidated by him and he wasn't worried that he would say the wrong thing."

When asked why McMahon stopped doing commentary:

"He [has] got an amazing, amazing mind, if you ask me." Silfies continued, "I think he stopped [commentating] because he was frustrated having to sit there [at the commentary desk] and not be able to control other aspects of the show because he had tobe doing the commentary and he could make do with someone else doing the commentary easier than he could sit there and watch everybody else, myself included, screw things up because he wasn't able to help."

He said that McMahon set a great example when he stepped into the ring:

"Well, first, I thought that it wasa great example for everyone that 'I'm not expecting anybody to do things that I won't do myself to the limits ofmy capabilities' and his are pretty unlimited. And I also thought, 'please don't let him get hurt!'"

John Cena talks about him being away from WWE, Giving new talents chance

John Cena who has been away from WWE for his upcoming reality show for quite sometimes now recently spoke to Zap2It.com at the set of FOX's American Grit. He was asked why he took time off to which he replied:

"I've been a cornerstone of WWE programming since 2002. That's a long time, it's more than 10 years. So much so that a portion of our audience has direct complacency with me. 'Man, Cena holds everybody down. He doesn't give the new guys a chance.'

From a company perspective, as you know I hold it very near and dear to my heart, the dance floor is open, boys. I'm gone, let's see who steps up. And I like that. As much as I want to try to distance myself or as much as someone who views me would try to distance myself from WWE, I'm never going to go. 

Personally, and this gives me a better perspective on Dwayne Johnson's path, you get to a certain point and you cannot attract any more fans. Essentially, my productivity from a company standpoint … I've done as much as I can— 15 world championships and a myriad of other accomplishments. I don't know what left I can do, but I still want to be able to put people in the building."

Alberto Del Rio talks about joining UFC and Cm Punk

Raj Giri from Wrestlinginc.com recently spoke with former WWE star Alberto Del Rio. He is currently known as Alberto El Patron in the independent circuit. He talked about many things including Cm Punk and UFC. Here are the highlights from the interview:

About if it's a good idea for CM Punk to join UFC and if he'll make it:

"Punk is a great athlete, he's been training to do this for a while, even before he left WWE, he was already doing jiu jitsu and Thai boxing. He was just doing it to be in shape, back then he didn't know that he was going to be in the UFC one day. Now he's taking his time and he's getting ready. He's smart. I'm sure the promoters would like to put him in the cage already because they know he's going to sell PPVs. Phil is a really smart person. He's going to befor sure. There are people saying that he's not going to fight, and it was just a promotion to get people to watch UFC, but it's not. He's fighting for sure. I can't tell you the specific date, because I know he's getting ready and he wants to do well. He wants to have a career in MMA."

When asked about the rumor of him joining UFC:

"I'll do it, but they need to offer the right money, the offers I received from all of the organizations are so ridiculous that I didn't even think about it. It's really good money for the fighters, because I know what fighters do every time they fight, but I do so well in pro wrestling, why would I do something like that if I'm making the same money for pro wrestling appearances?"

Dean Ambrose talks about teaming with Roman Reigns, review of his new movie

PWInsider is reporting that "The Icon" Sting is scheduled for this week's WWE Raw. Raw this week will be live from FedExForum in Memphis, TN.

Sting will continue his rivalry with Seth Rollins. Seth is scheduled to fight sting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night Of Champions Ppv. Rollins will also fight John Cena for United States Championship at the same ppv. Recently a report online gave strong signals that John Cena will some how beat Seth at NOC.

- ComingSoon.net recently took interview of WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose. Ambrose was promoting his already released WWE movie 12 Rounds 3 : Lockdown. The original movie stared John Cena while the 2nd installment of the Franchisee saw Randy Orton as hero. Dean was asked about teaming up with Roman Reigns to which he said: 

"Yeah, anytime I can team with Roman Reigns is always a good day, because it's always fun to be out there with your friend and a guy you have good chemistry with," Ambrose said. "It just takes everything to a different level. It gives it a football game type of atmosphere, having that extra guy to play off. I will always welcome that opportunity."
However the movie is not going very well for the Lunatic Fringe, critics are ripping off the reputation saying the movie is nothing without John Cena. The Los Angeles Times has a negative review for the movie. They said that movie lacked firepower without John Cena . Martin Tsai wrote, who is a film critic wrote:
"Written by Bobby Lee Darby and Nathan Brookes, the new film is a sequel to "12 Rounds" in name only. Though not as thrilling as the original, this third installment is an improvement over the paint by number 2013 direct-to-video "12 Rounds 2: Reloaded." The original also had Cena, who recently confirmed his gifts by stealing scenes from Amy Schumer in "Trainwreck." This film has Ambrose, who though better than Randy Orton in "12 Rounds 2," still proves no match for Cena."

It's notable that the first part of 12 rounds franchisee was stared by John Cena. The 2nd installment had Randy Orton as the hero. 

Daniel Bryan talks about his return, heel turn and more in Dubai

Daniel Bryan is currently touring Dubai UAE. He is there to promote the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game. He was interviewed by Myles of 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai, here are some highlights from the interview:

- He said that he wished John Cena was a heel. He said that Hulk Hogan's heel turn in 1996 changed the wrestling world. He also addressed the current situation with heels. He said that it's hard to say who is heel and who is face now as heel's also get cheered many.

- He said that he likes The New Day as heel's. But he also can't stop loving them. He said he just love everything New Day does.

- He said that his favourite wrestler currently is Cesaro and the New Day is his favourite as an 'act'. He also said that they are doing  "amazingly entertaining stuff" right now

- He talked the current rumours of Kurt Angle and WWE. He told that he doesn't know what is the issue with him and WWE. He will like to see Angle wrestling once again with WWE.

- He was asked about his return to WWE before WrestleMania 32. He said he will like to return as a babyface.

Daniel Bryan created a lots of buzz in a interview some times ago. he has been medically cleared by a certified doctor to compete but for some reasons WWE doctors are not clearing him to return in the ring.

Kurt Angle not re-sighing with TNA, will take a break from wrestling

Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle has said that he will not be working with TNA anymore after his contract expires at the end of this year.

Kurt was present at Mark Madden's Pittsburgh radio show ‘105.9 The X ‘. He was asked what he will do after his current contract expires later this year. He said that he will not be resigning with TNA. However he will not sign with any other company.

He said that he will be taking some time off from wrestling. Kurt is 46 years old. He might now be thinking to work a lighter schedule similar to Sting’s when he was in TNA.

It’s most likely that he will return to TNA only as TNA is in need of star power at this moment with their reputation going down day by day. Still we can expect WWE to show interest in The Olympics Gold Medalist wrestler. They have signed few returning TNA wrestlers in past months including Samoa Joe, The Dudly boys and more.

Kurt started wrestling for TNA in 2006. He became TNA world champion soon after joining the company. Till date he has won the TNA World title at 6 different occasions.
