Former TNA Champion Injured, TNA to begin round of 16


Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the Current GFW Heavyweight Champion Nick "Magnus" Aldis has been reportedly injured.


He was working in Mexico recently for Konnan promotion when he suffered a torn bicep. He, himself is not really sure when he will make it back to the ring. He made the following tweet regarding it:

I had surgery today to repair a torn bicep tendon that I injured in Mexico 10 days ago. Apologies to the promotions I've had to cancel for.I'm aiming to rehab asap and will keep you posted on my return to action. Thanks.— Nick Aldis (@MagnusOfficial)December 2, 2005

TNA to Round of 16


TNA is going to begin "The round of 16" in their ongoing TNA World Title Series. The round will start on tonight's Impact Tapings. These following matches have been announced for tonight's Impact:

Drew Galloway vs. Bobby Lashley, 
Bram vs. Davey Richards,
Awesome Kong vs. Jessie Godderz,

Matt Hardy vs. Bobby Roode.
