It was a bad week for both TNA and ROH. Both of the brands suffered major drops on their TV ratings. Both brands are aired currently on Destination America.

Ring of Honor's TV episode on Wednesday drew 89,000 viewers. Last week on the same day it drew 138,000 viewers. That's a massive 36% drop for the company.

TNA's Impact wrestling show drew almost 258,000 viewers. Last week the same show drew 353,000 viewers. This is almost 27% less than last week. The midnight replay of Impact saw 62,000 viewers which are down from last week's 96,000.

The average drop of both the main telecast and the replay was a massive 29%. Both shows are said to be hurt by the GOP debate on CNN last night. The debate drew drew 23.1 million viewers for CNN.

It's notable that both TNA and ROH are in a kind of trial run with Destination America. The channel will see the ratings of both shows. After it they will decide if any of the shows are good enough to continue with the channel.

TNA also announced their first official match for their 4th annual Bound For Glory ppv. Awesome Kong will take on Gail Kim for the TNA Knockouts championship at October 4th.
