John Jones who has created not very great reputation for him after a DUI, a failed drug test for cocaine, and a hit-and-run incident which costed him his UFC title, said that even after this there are some people who has not turned on him yet.
In the first interview after his arrest he told UFC that both Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor reached out to him. Both offered their help to him in order to get out of the situation he is in. He even said that Rousey even offered him to stay at her beach house:
"Ronda has been very supportive of me. She texted me quite a few times. She eveninvited me to come and stay at her beach house in California. She said 'Jon, you're going to come back from this. If there's anything I can do for you, let me know. If you want to get away I've got a house here that not many people know where it's at and it's your house until you get right.' Stuff like that, it's like man—this girl is on top of the world right now and she's sitting here thinking of me at my darkest hour. That's something I'll never forget,"
He also said that current interim Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor wrote him to gave encouragement.
"Conor McGregor wrote me, he said 'Hey champ, you know that once a champ, always a champ and I believe you're going to come back from this strong"
