Lana injury updates, WWE confirms signing of 2 new indie wrestlers

We noted before that Lana suffered a wrist injury working in the ring before a live event. The event was Fairfax, Virginia. Now WWE has confirmed that she underwent a successful surgery this Thursday. 

Dr. Chris Amann, from the WWE medical team commented the following on the injury- 

"Lana underwent open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of a left distal radius fracture with a volar plate. The fracture was stabilized and returned to its normal anatomic position during the surgery using the volar plate and screws. Lana did very well without any complications and is expected to make a full recovery."

The comment was posted on WWE.com. There is no news on how long she will be out of action As per the starting reports of her injury, she is expected to be out of in ring action for almost 4 months. 

WWE confirms signing of 2 new indie wrestlers

- PWInsider has confirmed that WWE has signed TNA Knockout and CMLL veteran Sarah Stock aka Dark Angel or Sarita to work with them. She will work as full time coach at WWE performance centre at Orlando, Florida.

WWE officials are in a fire train of signing indie talents this month. First they signed Japanese wrestler Kana earlier this week and now WWE has confirmed that they have signed 2 more indie talents. 

After a lots of rumours surrounding their signing Both Biff Busick and Athena have been finally confirmed by WWE as new NXT recruits. They will most likely report to WWE performance centre later this month. Also WrestlingInc is reporting that WWE has signed Rich Swann.
