Vince McMahon Reportedly In Doubt About Top WrestleMania Match

It appears that Vince McMahon is having second thoughts about a top WrestleMania match.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there is uncertainty regarding McMahon's feelings on Shayna Baszler. Specifically, the boss was not particularly happy with Baszler's match against Kairi Sane on this week's episode of Raw.

He thought that the bout did not get the desired reaction and the Boss believes that the former NXT Champion was not coming off like someone who can be one of the headliners for WrestleMania.

Shayna Baszler was originally expected to win the Royal Rumble but Vince changed his decision last minute and Charlotte Flair ended up winning the bout.

Shayna Baszler is someone who Paul Heyman sees as a top star. Since she is not getting a push because of McMahon, it looks possible that he changes his mind once again and nixes the WrestleMania match between her and Becky Lynch.

We will know whether or not this is the case at Elimination Chamber.

The Rock announces WWE return, Big World title match announced

As reported before WWE chairman Vince McMahon was present at tonight's Monday night Raw. And as expected he made sure that Roman Reigns gets no rest in his journey to WrestleMania.

Vince announced that Roman Reigns will have to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus next week on Raw. Making the things even interesting he announced that he will be the special Guest referee for the match.

The Rock announces WWE return

As we noted before The Rock was teasing a big announcement before tonight's Monday night Raw. We noted that it could be related to a WWE return.

Making all the previous speculations false, the Rock announced that he will be joining the biggest event of the Wrestling calendar "WrestleMania 32".

It's not known yet if he will be competing in a match or will make a non-wrestling appearance. But both ways it's going to be a treat for all the wrestling fans.

Brad Maddox talks about his new gimmick

Bead Maddox who was recently released by WWE spoke with Aaron Oster of Rolling Stone about his WWE release, if he got a chance to talk to vince and more. Below are some highlights of the interview:

If he got the chance to talk to Vince before his release:

No, I didn't get a chance to talk to him before I left. I wanted to, but I didn't get a chance to. When I came to the back, people seemed split on it. Half the locker room didn't think I could say that, the other half didn't see a problem with it. Tome, it's like saying "screw you." I didn't think it was inappropriate at all, especially for a dark match. I was out there trying to work up the crowd. It's not for TV. I'm making fun of the hometown and their football team and talking to them directly. I was just trying to warm the crowd up, that was my role. It just didn't work out.

If Vince is open minded:

If that reputation is still around, then it's a myth. He likes guys who knock on his door. He's a creative mastermind, so he likes it when you come in and pitch him an idea so he can sit there and think about it with you. You can talk about the creative side of wrestling with him. I think there's a stigma that Vince's door is more intimidating than he is. When I came back, I wasn't afraid to knock on his door anymore, but I was delighted that once I did, he was really easy to talk to. He was really easy to pitch ideas to, and he was listening to what you just pitched him, and he would give feedback. He might give you different ideas. He was really cool to work with.

Some ideas he pitched to get back on TV:

I did this one thing where I acted like I was lost in a cave, in Mexico. I put these videos out online. Then it turns out that I wasn't lost, it was just a publicity stunt. It turns out that I had lost my mind, but it wasn't because I was stuck in a cave, it was from being stuck at home. I wanted to turn into a guy who just flipped out from falling off his mantle as being the most important man on Raw to a guy who lost his dream job and everything else with it. A guy who became mentally unstable, though not in a Dean Ambrose way. I messed around with some split-personality stuff as well. I like to try to get creative, and sometimes I go too far outsidethe box. Those were some.

Longtime WWE Employee talks about Vince McMahon, his commentary in ring performance and more

Kerwin Silfies recently appeared on 'The Steve Austin Show - Unleashed' where he talked about a lots of things. He has been a long time WWE Director so he has worked very closely with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon so Austin asked him several questions related to him too. Silfies said about his commentary:

"Nobody can tell the story that needs to be told better than the man who booked the story,and, so, everything [McMahon] did [on commentary] was pretty perfect. And I think that's why whatever color [commentary] guys were working with him, they did their best work working with him, with the exception of Bobby [Heenan], who, hands down, did his best work working with Gorilla [Monsoon] because he wasn't intimidated by him and he wasn't worried that he would say the wrong thing."

When asked why McMahon stopped doing commentary:

"He [has] got an amazing, amazing mind, if you ask me." Silfies continued, "I think he stopped [commentating] because he was frustrated having to sit there [at the commentary desk] and not be able to control other aspects of the show because he had tobe doing the commentary and he could make do with someone else doing the commentary easier than he could sit there and watch everybody else, myself included, screw things up because he wasn't able to help."

He said that McMahon set a great example when he stepped into the ring:

"Well, first, I thought that it wasa great example for everyone that 'I'm not expecting anybody to do things that I won't do myself to the limits ofmy capabilities' and his are pretty unlimited. And I also thought, 'please don't let him get hurt!'"

WWE 2K16: Full and updated roster with 120 playable characters
